This discovery was published by the Science Academy under the name of TOMATIS EFFECT in 1957. It is the base of the method which holds its name and which is applied in Tomatis Centres.

A blocked ear or an ear which has been damaged during the various stages of its development loses the ability to hear properly.

Dr Alfred TOMATIS has demonstrated that by modifying the listening abilities of a person, his/her language and behaviour are also altered. Therefore, he has completed a specific device: the precision electronic ear.
